Licensing Laws
In New Mexico, Private Investigators are licensed under Private Investigator Board, New Mexico Administrative Coda, Title 16 Occupational and Professional Licensing, Chapter 48, Private Law Enforcement Practitioners.

To apply, you need five (5) years of experience to obtain an employee license and pass an examination.

Continuing Education
Licensed Investigators in New Mexico are required to take 4 hours of Continuing Education every year.
