Investigative Student Spotlight Perry Ragsdale
Let us introduce to you another recent graduate NITA – Perry Ragsdale. As a successful graduate, Perry completed several of NITA’s professional development classes and we took a few moments to hear about his experience. During our Interview, Perry, let us know that his background was in the automotive industry, and he has spent the last twenty plus years working in both the manufacturing and retail sides of the car business. Currently, Perry made the switch to the Private Investigative field, and he is currently in a relationship with another NITA student who is going to be a PI as well.
Why did you choose your current career path? I needed a change from retail and I once spoke to a PI who got me interested in this field and I chose to become a PI in order to help other people and the change of pace.
What early jobs did you have leading to your current position that can help with your Investigative career? I have worked as a server in a restaurant, a sales representative for a local news paper, and I also worked in the printing industry on a printing press. Along with my car industry experience, I believe I will make a well rounded investigator.
Would you recommend the investigative field to an aspiring Private Investigator? I would recommend this field without hesitation and I would tell anyone to “Stick with it -- you can do !!”
You have several options for online training, why did you choose NITA? The support given to us by Bruce Lambert, NITA’s account manager, was the determining factor and I would 100% recommend NITA to a friend !!
