We would love to introduce to you our most recent student spotlight, Tammie Martino. Tammie is a single mom with six kids and recently completed the required training in Florida for her FL CC Intern License. Tammie has a wealth of working experience and is finding Private Investigations as a second career. She said, “if she can do it, you can too.”
We spent time catching up with Tammie and discussing her career and online experience at NITA. Here is a highlight of our call:
Tell us about yourself and your career path: Tammie started with a degree in fashion and assisted with running a family business. She has worked with several larger companies as well and worked on large investigative cases which sparked her love for the industry. Tammie has worked with missing kids cases and undercover investigations and “loves the industry.” She stated that you can “still learn at any age and she always had an itch to learn more!”
What is the best part of your career and where do you see your future? Martino stated that she loved the investigative industry since “every day is a different day.” She hopes to keep up with her investigative work and fight insurance fraud, work on crime scene cases and use her research passion to solve cases. Tammie loves pre-texting to gather information and is passionate about learning more about cases she is researching.
What career advice would you impart to future Investigators? Tammie stated that you are never too old to learn and to follow your passion.
You have several options for online training, why did you choose NITA? “ I loved the course. It is very easy to understand and easy to comprehend the information. The course was well worth the money considering once you get your license, you can go anywhere with it. I highly recommend this school, of course!”
What about NITA’s training was most beneficial to you? How was your online experience? Tammie stated that she loved that she could study anywhere and after years of experience in the workplace, she still learned information. The flexibility to study on your own time was well worth it for Tammie.
