Course Description
To become a licensed Private Investigator in Florida, you need to understand the state’s codes, ethical expectations, and legal guidelines, all of which are covered on the Florida Investigator State Exam. This program offers an in-depth review of the topics and information you’ll need to know to successfully prepare for the Florida “C” Investigator’s License exam.
The course curriculum starts by covering the Florida PI Handbook, Florida Statute 493, and Administrative Code 5N-1, which outline the expectations for Investigators in the state. From there, you’ll learn about Florida Statute 790, the statute that sets the legal guidelines for weapon and firearm possession and use in the state.
In addition to the individual lessons, NITA’s Florida Investigator State Exam Prep course also features short review quizzes after each section to ensure you’re retaining the information that’s covered. The course also includes links to a wide array of external resources that can help you prepare for the state exam.
This dynamic training is offered 100% online and on-demand, so you can start immediately and study on your own schedule.
