Florida Private Investigator Requirements
All Private Investigators working in Florida must be licensed. In Florida, The Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, Division of Licensing regulates the PI industry in accordance with Florida Statute 493. NITA has been appointed as one of the approved providers of training from the Division of Licensing in Florida. The Florida Investigator “CC” Intern Course (40 hours), which meets the requirements in accordance with FS 493, is offered online and available for immediate enrollment. NITA has been awarded an annual license from the Florida Department of Education, Commission of Education, Florida School License #4875, to provide training for potential investigators in Florida.
Georgia Private Investigator Requirements
The National Investigative Training Academy, Inc. (NITA) is also a board-approved provider of investigative training in the state of Georgia. NITA’s own Chief Academic Officer Steve Cassell is a Board-Approved Training Provider, license number CLTR001021. National Investigative Training Academy Inc. (NITA) courses are available online for immediate enrollment. The Georgia Basic PI Training (70 hours) course follows the guidelines set forth from the Board of Private Detective and Security Agencies.
