Investigative Student Spotlight - Kevin Hinkle
We would love to introduce to you our most recent student spotlight, Kevin Hinkle. Kevin has a wealth of experience and a well-rounded background that will assist with his investigative career. For many years, Kevin worked at a corporate job as a project manager and recently took time off from the corporate environment to pursue his new passion of investigations. Kevin is open to all possibilities that the investigative industry has to offer and is looking forward to his next big adventure.
We took time to catch up with Kevin and discuss his career and online experience at NITA. Here is a highlight of our call:
Tell us about yourself and your career path: Currently, Kevin has been working in the industry of investigations and researching the sex trafficking news. He claims that he has “discovered so much information” that he wants to use his investigative knowledge to make a difference. Obtaining his investigative license is the first step that Kevin took to begin his next career endeavor.
What is the best part of working in the investigative field? Kevin has a super positive attitude about life and stated he wants “his actions to make a difference.” He loves the research part of investigations and loves “digging deeper” to find solutions.
What career advice would you impart to future Investigators? With an expansive career full of different opportunities, Kevin’s advice is “to find time for yourself.” Kevin has learned and wants to pass along to others to “chase your heart" and find your passion. He stated that he tells others to take pause with your life decisions and determine what makes you happy.
You have several options for online training, why did you choose NITA? After searching for online training options, Kevin found NITA. Kevin liked how NITA’s training was thorough, but yet concise with the detailed information provided. His favorite aspect of NITA’s training was the flexibility offered as he was able to study on his own time and at his favorite location with a view of the beach!
Would you recommend NITA to others? When asked about his recommendation of NITA, Kevin stated, “Yes, I would absolutely recommend NITA to others!”
