A PI New Year’s Resolution 2017: Leverage Technology and Online Tools for Career Advancement
It’s hard to believe that 2017 is finally here! In just the past few years, technology has evolved immensely and it’s even more important today that Private Investigators have the tools they need to stay ahead of the game.
Think about it for just a moment. Can you believe the following apps didn’t even exist in 2007?
- iPhone didn’t exist ten years ago.
- iPad didn’t exist ten years ago.
- Kindle didn’t exist ten years ago.
- Uber didn’t exist ten years ago.
- Airbnb didn’t exist ten years ago.
- Android didn’t exist ten years ago.
- Oculus didn’t exist ten years ago.
- Spotify didn’t exist ten years ago.
- Nest didn’t exist ten years ago.
- Stripe didn’t exist ten years ago.
- Square didn’t exist ten years ago.
- Instagram didn’t exist ten years ago.
- Slack didn’t exist ten years ago.
- Spotify didn’t exist ten years ago.
- Snapchat didn’t exist ten years ago.
While it’s common to proclaim a resolution to lose weight or visit the gym more regularly, statistics indicate that only eight percent of individuals achieve their New Year’s Resolution.
Let’s face it; there are certain resolutions that are hard to keep. However, investing in one’s education and future career is a resolution that won’t easily be broken.
(Related: You asked. We answered. NITA has increased its course curriculum by 140% to now offer online Professional Development courses for anyone seeking to enter the industry as well as licensed Private Investigators who desire to enhance their existing knowledge base.)
