Course Description

This 8-hour course follows the Private Investigator and Security Services Statutes, Vermont Statutes, Title 26 and Administrative Rules for Private Investigators and Security Guards, Part 9 (9.5). NITA's training covers the role of the private investigator (2 hours), ethics and conduct (3 hours), and legal powers (3 hours).

Available in a 100% online format that allows you to learn whenever and wherever you want, this course provides an in-depth review of the proficiencies required to apply for a Vermont Registered Private Investigator Employee license.

Course Completion

All courses include an end-of-course examination. Students must pass the exam for each topic above to receive credit for the training.

Everything you need to complete your training is available through our online learning platform.
