Course Description
This is a professional development training course that introduces the need for security for professionals who are working within the Cannabis Industry. This introduction will discuss some of the basic ideas and philosophies involved in creating a secure environment for a facility, business, or any space. With this emerging business and specialty product, the potential for theft is high and businesses need to employ knowledgeable security professionals to assist with their security measures. This training was developed with the security supervisor and manger in mind as well as anyone working with in the cannabis business environment.
Cannabis dispensaries have a distinct difference in the business community. Although legal, not everyone in the community agrees with the legalization of marijuana, and therefore a solid knowledge of security and security systems is essential to running a problem free operation.
Course Outcome
Security Professionals in the cannabis Industry will have the ability to learn at their own pace and complete two (2) hours of dynamic professional development training to further enhance their security career. This training will enhance your knowledge of the workings of the cannabis industry to compliment your existing knowledge base.
