Course Description
This continuing education course discusses the definition of terrorism, the goal/factors of terrorism, and cites several of the major terrorism events in the U.S. Further topics include how to respond to an active shooter, the role of Homeland Security and FPS as well as how as security and investigative professionals we can play a part in awareness of terrorism.
NITA's course on Terrorism Indicators for Homeland Security was developed in conjunction with a former National Security Agency Special Agent and Federal Law Enforcement Training Center Anti-Terrorism Instructor.
Course Outcome
Private Investigators will have the ability to learn at their own pace and complete two (2) hours of dynamic training to further enhance their career.
Course Completion
All courses include an end-of-course examination. Students must pass the exam to receive credit for the training. Certificates will be available online immediately for all students.
